I love this post! Devil in a Blue Dress is a fantastic neonoir and mystery from an equally great novel. I've read just about all the Easy Rawlins novels and it's fascinating to see Easy aging and at the same time becoming more resourceful and expanding his business ideas. Carl Franklin made this film and another solid thriller titled One False Move with Bill Paxton and Michael Beach. I would have loved to see more films like this from him.
Yeah I was thinking how much Michael B. Jordan looks like Easy in Sinners, and he'd be a great Easy in future movies or series. There are enough novels for a series.

There are other books in the series that I think need to be made into a tv show cuz easy has gone on some pretty wild adventures.
