She has spent her adult years bravely paying the consequences for others’ abuse against her, walking through the difficult process of remembering her abuse and healing, and now becoming an advocate for others who have faced similar pain. Now, for the first time, she is telling the truth about her healing journey in an autofiction novel that has been in the works since 2016. It has taken her over 10 years to get the story off her chest and onto the page, but she says she writes for other survivors so that they can know they are not alone as they walk their own paths to healing.
